PHOTOGRAPHED BY OUR TEAMCare begins with
understanding.
Rugs harbor bacteria, dust mites, pollen, and allergens that affect indoor air quality and health. Our sanitizing service goes beyond surface cleaning to reduce microscopic contaminants embedded deep within the fibers. Using sanitizing agents chosen for the fiber, we aim for a hygienically clean rug for homes with children, pets and allergies, while protecting the rug's texture and color.
We discuss the condition, recommended treatment and expected outcome with you. The appropriate method is selected after inspection; not every treatment is suitable for every rug.
Rug Sanitizing in Washington Heights and Inwood
Washington Heights and Inwood fit 75,854 homes into 2,076 buildings, so the halls and lobbies of these apartment houses carry a lot of foot traffic past each apartment door. What comes in on shoes settles first in the rug nearest the door, and dust mites are most at home in bedroom rugs, deep in the pile where vacuums do little. Those two rugs are the ones worth sanitizing first, with UV light as an extra step on request. If someone you live with has allergies, mention it at booking so the treatment can be matched to the rug and the room. Between visits, shake out or vacuum the doormat often, since a full mat passes its dirt straight on.
